In one or two sentences introduce yourself…….
31 year old, NZ born, happily married, currently living in central Auckland. Creative, perfectionist Virgo that is always dreaming big! In the past 6 years I have established a nail/beauty business in Newmarket & have an eponymous range of body & bath products.

What’s your biggest project going on now?
I would love to spill the beans here as I'm working towards an exciting new adventure in my working life, however, until all is official, my lips are sealed! I'll keep you posted.
In the meantime, I'm getting myself & my wonderful staff geared up for the next 2 busiest months of the year.

What do you spend your days doing?
Most of my time, at the moment, is spent in the salon with our amazing clients. In the evenings & on Sundays, I spend my precious spare time with Jasper my husband, reading & researching or with my family. Mostly work, not much play but that's what I love!

Where’s your favourite place in NZ?
Without a doubt, at my mum & dads holiday apartment in Whitianga. Sitting on the deck, with the sun shining & my family around me, it doesn't get any better than that!

What’s your favourite tipple?
Depends on the season. In the winter, I love a red & in summer, a chilled glass of rose is my first choice. To be honest though, if the company is good, I'm just as happy with a beer!

Who inspired/or continues to inspire you most in your life?
So many people! Of course, my husband Jasper, what he achieves every single day is truly amazing. My parents, Jo & Geoff, I wouldn't be where I am today without them. My brothers, Mike & John, who live in Sydney, their motivational texts are often all I need to get through the day! Also, all the many people I've never met but have read their stories & been inspired. Anyone really, that is living their dream is inspiration to me!

What’s the latest thing downloaded to your Ipod?
The new Pearl Jam "Backspacer" album. Those guys have been my fave since I was about 15! It's so amazing to hear them now, how they've grown & how they are still able to churn out incredible lyrics & songs.

What’s your biggest weakness?
Shoes, bags & jewellery! I add a new pair of Christian Louboutins to my collection every time I visit Sydney, I already have my eyes on the next pair! Bags & jewellery like cuffs & cocktail rings I mostly get online, or in Sydney.

If you weren’t doing what you are doing now you’d…
Good question & one that I think we should all ask ourselves more often! It is said that to find your true passion, you should ask yourself what brings you joy, what do you love to talk about all day long, if you could, what would you do if money were no object, what comes easily to you... My answer would be, have a high end handbag & jewellery range that is sold throughout the world in all the most desirable places like Barneys New York! I believe life shouldn't be restricted to any one thing, it's good to reinvent yourself, just as long as whatever you choose to do, you make it your mission to be the best damn person there is on the planet doing it!
Be careful what you wish for they say!

What are you reading?
I always have a few things on the go. Here's the list as it stands today...
The Satorialist By Scott Schuman. Incredible eye candy for any man or woman interested in fashion & style.
The Trump Card – Playing to Win in Work & Life By Ivanka Trump.
The Teen VOGUE Handbook – An Insiders Guide to Careers in Fashion. Don't be put off by the "teen". This is an amazing booked filled with interviews with people like Alexander Wang, Anna Wintour & Marc Jacobs to name a few!
Style.com for all the latest shows, parties & fashions.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Refer to my answer on my favourite place in NZ!

What is your greatest fear?
Not achieving my dreams. Life is short, we have nothing to lose. I think it's our lifes purpose to fulfill our dreams, if I don't, someone else will!

What is your greatest extravagance?
Same as my biggest weakness!

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
It's a catch 22. Probably not be so hard on myself & so critical, but then if I wasn't, I'd feel like a slacker! Nothing wrong with striving for perfection & aiming to be the best I can be at whatever I do.

Finish the sentence...it really irritates me that...
So many people waste their time being negative, it actually takes less effort to be happy & positive!

I just love it when...
People are positive!

Thanks Sarah! You are truly inspirational.
